Biography

I was born in Oñate (Guipúzcoa). I Graduated in Fine Arts at Basque Country University(UPV/EHU). I successfully completed the Teaching Certificate at the Basque Country University and a curse of Computer Graphic Design and Lay-out at Open University of Catalonia/Complutense University of Madrid (UOC/UCM).

I'm a scriptwriter and a drawer of graphic novels and comic strips. I began publishing in magazines such as "Cretino","Tmeo", "HabeKomik", "Aizú!", "Ritmo del Rock", "Ría del ocio", etc.

After that, I self-published my comic books ("Solsticio", "El vuelo del caracol", "Nabo", "El gato sin alas") under the Mancuso Cómics label.

I have published several comic strips in Spanish newspapers such as "El Correo", "El País", "El Diario Vasco", "Diario de Burgos".

I have also published several graphic novels in differents Spanish and French publishing houses such as La Cúpula, Sin Sentido, Planeta d'Agostini, Rackham Editions, Norma editorial...

This website presents some of the pages of the edited comic books over recents years. Besides, it is possible to find several illustrations, collaborations with other author, and some of the comic strips published in the Sunday newspaper magazine "El Pequeño País".
